I can’t believe it’s been two months since I updated my blog. For those of you who write every day or every week, I applaud you. As for me, I get so caught up in life that I actually forget I have a blog for periods of time, which is probably not a good thing for a writer hoping to attract people to her work. My novel, Confessions of a Reluctant Cougar, was long listed for the ReLit Award this summer and I had an excellent review in Canadian Notes & Queries, written by Nyla Matuk. This fall and winter I’ve got a bunch of readings coming up but what I am still most excited about is what I did this summer.
Along with poets Jim Nason, Maureen Hynes, Ruth Roach Pierson, Moira MacDougall, and writer/publisher Halli Villegas, we were the Canadian Poets lucky enough to appear at SUMMERHALL, Venue #26.
